hosts this preview evening of The Peace Center’s Next Broadway
Series production, The Drowsy Chaperone. 1920’s costumes
encouraged. Win CD’s, tickets, Peace Center merchandise

Another Special Announcement
Save the Basilica Rally. Concerned about development
in Asheville? Take part in a rally against a 9-story hotel
that has been proposed by te McKibbon Hotel Group and would
be built right in front of the Basilica of St. Lawrence,
one of Asheville’s architectural treasures. The rally is
scheduled for Thursday, May 8 at 5:30pm in front of the
Civic Center where Asheville City Council will be holding
a public meeting about the Downtown Master Plan.
