Don't forget to tune in for Episode 4 of

This Week with Stephanie Sinclair

It has been brought to my attention that in my last few correspondences, I have been very remiss in a feature you all enjoy… my not so subliminal barbs at my bestest friend, Miss Summer Clearence. In fact, it was she that brought it to my attention. So to one of the most unique people I know… SHUT UP SUMMER!

Oh my, it’s going to be a busy weekend, I can see that. If you are in the Charlotte area, you’ve got everything from the cream of the crop female impersonators to the dreamiest porn stars around town. Asheville, you’ve got a heavy load in party land too. But… before we take of on this weeks cruiser crawl… a few announcements

Look good in a Tux? Never tried one but want to? Well read on.

Announcing the Asheville Chapter of Black Tie Club International.

For those of you that are not familiar with the group, Black Tie Club was formed in Toronto, Canada in 1990. The Club was founded to meet new people who share a common outlook, to have fun and to enjoy one another's company in a Black Tie setting. The club's Founder has always believed that, no matter what you may look like, when you put on a tux you look adorable! The dinners are Black Tie only and held at local restaurants that can accommodate the group accordingly.

Members may attend other chapter functions across the country when he is traveling.

The annual membership fee is $75 per single or $100 per couple which goes to BTC International for publication of a quarterly magazine and the organization of an International annual meeting.

Please visit www.blacktieclubinternational.com for more information on the club and the local chapters.

If you are interested in being a member of an Asheville Chapter of BTCI. Email drjarnecke@yahoo.com for more information.

OK, Tux not your speed? How about Bowling Shirts?

Meet new friends, win prizes, have fun. There is a Gay and Gay Friendly Bowling League forming. Their first organizational meeting will be Sunday, August 31st at 4pm at O. Henry’s on Haywood Street in Asheville. The League is open to both Men and Women.

Never bowled…GREAT, low average…WONDERFUL, having fun is the goal. Teams, Individuals, groups, no problem. Bowling will begin Sunday Afternoons September 14th and run for a 16-week season. For more info or if you can’t attend the meeting and want to sign up, email bowlingasheville.@yahoo.com.
